It is undeniable that had these editors published a cartoon depicting Christ in a blasphemous manner, the university would have defended these students against any resulting Christian protest.You must give it to Muslims, even though they are terribly mistaken in their rejection of Christ and worship of Muhammed, unlike their Christian counterparts, they are not afraid to defend their faith.What is perplexing is why the liberal establishment is so sympathetic with Muslims in general. Unlike Christianity, the liberals/modernists will not be able to easily re-mold Islam so as to come in line with modern/leftist principles; and also, unlike Christianity, Islam is far more diametrically oppossed to modern liberal society. Yet the elites continue to sympathize and ally themselves with Islam.
